 It's a bit too hot time time for some skiing in the Alps, therefore we decided to do so waterskiing in Alphen (Wet 'n Wild). Here my cool collegue Alex, need I say more? (Photo by the mysterious Frans).

Just downloaded 'extended menu' from http://de.siteof.de/extended-menu.html. Works great to automatically make menus from your categories within a section. But down forget to set the 'default item id', otherwise it won't work for that purpose...

My new toy is a Nokia N70 mobile phone. It has a 2 megapixel camera that is finally useful, especially if you compare it with the crap found on my old Siemens MC60 phone (where the microphone stopped working and reduced the device to an SMS-only thingy).

As of Sept. 1996, I'm working as software engineer for the
Air Traffic Management Department at the NLR
(Dutch: Nationaal Lucht-en ruimtevaart Laboratorium), also known
as the Dutch Aerospace Laboratory .
I am currently working on Air
Traffic Controller software for various internal and european
projects. One of the projects is developing our own Tower
Research Simulator. I am involved in HMI development and
managing the software base.

I graduated on the topic Video compression techniques over
low-bandwidth lines. My thesis is online available here as a postscript gzipped version (220KB) . Some
people believe it is well-written, but who am I to argue that?

and more important: the source code of my fast, revolutionary H.263 encoder.
Unfortunately, I have not spend time on this work anymore the
last 10 years. Nevertheless, I still get a lot of mails about this
